Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark, almost opaque purple-black. Slightly reduced, meaty aromas have ripe-red fruit & rich spices. The palate has rich, smooth red-cherry fruit & meaty touches. Plentiful ginger & cinnamon spices combine with chocolate & mocha notes. Rich damson-fruit is supported by warming alcohol. Fresh acidity lifts strawberry fruit on the mid-palate. The medium to full bodied wine is, juicy & supple, finishing with strawberry fruit & spice." - 04/25 ep DCAMW

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2022 Chateau Tertre Roteboeuf rolls out with expressive notes of blueberry preserves, coffee, and stewed plums, giving way to hints of potpourri, unsmoked cigars, and hoisin, plus a touch of cedar chest. The full-bodied palate is densely laden with black fruit preserve slayers and exotic spice accents, supported by grainy tannins and soft acidity, finishing very long and spicy.

Deep garnet-purple colored. Needs a little swirling and coaxing to bring out notes of red currant jelly, kirsch, and fresh blackberries, leading to hints of sassafras, underbrush, and cinnamon stick. The medium-bodied palate is dense with ripe black and red berry flavors, supported by fine-grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and opulent. Nice!

Flowers, spearmint, tobacco, plums, cherries, smoke, licorice, and truffles define the aromatic character. The palate is sweet, lively, and fresh, with juicy strawberries, red plums, black raspberries, and cherries, and a touch of smoked mint, that shines in the finish. The blend is 85% Merlot, with 15% Cabernet Franc, 13% ABV. Harvesting took place September 30 - October 1. Drink from 2028-2045.

Reiffruchtig, auf den Punkt gereift, viele Gewürze, Leder, Trüffel und Aprikosenkekse, sehr komplex; am Gaumen noch immer mit Frucht, kraftvoll, würzig, struktuzriert, noch immer mit Gerbstoff und einer lebhaften Säure, zeigt Balance, Spannung und Rasse, hallt sehr lange nach. Hervorragend gereift, mit Reserven für weiter 15 Jahre.

Peppery, herbal, balsamic high ripeness, cherry, allspice. The palate is firmly built,with grainy, mineral-underlaid tannins that are immaculately ripe, at most a littledry. It has a long and caressing finish. A unique wine that keeps you on your toes!

This is drinking perfectly today. Splash decanted, from the get-go, it was easy to spot the flowers, black raspberries, herbs, spice, mint, and tobacco in the perfume. The concentrated, lush, palate delivered waves of spicy, black cherries, raspberries, herbs, and espresso that lingered with lift, and energy in the finish. Drink from 2024-2035.

Licorice, black raspberries, flowers, smoke, truffle, and cherries are all the place in the nose, and on the palate. The wine is balanced between its freshness, concentration, depth, and energy. The fruit offers an almost racy profile, with its mint-accented, dark red berries, peppery spice, and licorice on the palate. The finish continues with more of those sweet, spicy, and fresh black raspberries. The blend is 85% Merlot, with 15% Cabernet Franc, 14.5% ABV. Harvesting took place on one day, September 26. Drink from 2028-2050.

Sehr ausladende Nase, komplex, Cassis, Brombeeren, exotische Gewürze, Kräuter, sehr tief. Im Gaumen ausbalanciert, mit Opulenz, perfekt integrierter Barriquewürze und viel Struktur, die Elemente sind harmonisch, der Wein hallt sehr lange nach. Sehr hohe Qualität.

Deep, dark, almost opaque purple-black. Slightly reduced, meaty aromas have ripe-red fruit & rich spices. The palate has rich, smooth red-cherry fruit & meaty touches. Plentiful ginger & cinnamon spices combine with chocolate & mocha notes. Rich damson-fruit is supported by warming alcohol. Fresh acidity lifts strawberry fruit on the mid-palate. The medium to full bodied wine is, juicy & supple, finishing with strawberry fruit & spice. 04/25 ep DCAMW

The deep, dark black-ruby color is virtually opaque. Black fruit aromas are overlaid by meaty notes. The tight structure has very fine tannins with graphite notes. Though smooth the tannins are quite tightly together. Alcohol adds a touch of warmth & the acidity is fresh. There is a lovely integration of the jamy red-fruit with sweet, oak-derived spices.
