Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Les Brulieres de Beychevelle is situated next to Chateau Beaumont and the 2022 is a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon and 44% Merlot. It has a deep garnet-purple color and flies out of the glass with bold notions of Morello cherries, mulberries, and warm cassis, followed by hints of cinnamon stick and rose oil. Le nez est fruité et exprime du charnu, les notes de cassis charnu, de mûre pulpeuse et plus légèrement – de cerise bigarreau éclatante, associées à des touches de tabac frais, de lys et à des pointes d’épices. La bouche est fruitée et offre de la jutosité, une jolie fraîcheur, de la tension, une belle fraîcheur et un petit côté enrobant. Elle exprime les notes de mure juteuse/pulpeuse, de bleuet et plus légèrement – de framboise juteuse/pulpeuse ainsi que des pointes de badiane, une subtile pointe de bleuet, de fleurs de cerisier, une pointe de minéralité et une très discrète pointe de camphre en fond. Les tannins offrent un petit moelleux. Une jolie fraîcheur et du soyeux, de la densité relative en fraicheur.
