A partir da safra 2019, esse tradicional vinho não ostenta mais a palavra "Reserva" no rótulo, apesar de continuar tendo esse status, o que se confirma pelo selo em seu contra rótulo. Tinto composto a partir de 82% Tempranillo, 8% Graciano, 7% Mazuelo e 3% Garnacha, com estágio de 21 meses em barricas de carvalho americano de 225 litros. Mais uma ótima safra desse vinho, apresenta frutas vermelhas e negras maduras no ponto certo, acompanhadas de notas florais, balsâmicas, de especiarias doces e terrosas, que se confirmam no palato. Harmonioso, preciso e muito refinado, tem vigorosa acidez, taninos firmes e finíssimos e final suculento e profundo, com toques redutivos, de ameixas, de cerejas, de cedro, de alcaçuz e de grafite. Harmonious, textbook Rioja that shows cedar, spiced strawberries, vanilla and plums. Really polished on the palate, with fresh acidity and a linear, lengthy finish. Very subtle extraction makes this a really balanced, harmonious Rioja that’s appealing now. But the balance will help it age well for the next few years.
