Critic tasting note: (2024 vintage) "Li Veli makes more than one rosé, and this one is from an indigenous grape that even few Italians have heard of – Susumaniello, which exhibits considerable flexibility in how it is made into a varietal or blended. The wine has good intensity, with crisp and savory fruitiness more than fruity fruitiness. Aromas of sliced apples, crushed redcurrants, orange peel and grass. Textured and tangy with crisp acidity and vibrant fruit character. Flavorful and delicious. Drink now.

Tasted: Nov 2020
This bright, refreshing rosato kicks off with aromas of pink grapefruit, blood orange, watermelon and a heady dose of white flowers on the nose. It's rounded and polished on the palate, displaying ripe melon and orange flavors. Its tangy acidity lends ample lift without feeling sharp. Helles Pfirsichrosa mit aufhellendem Rand. Ansprechende Nase nach reifer Erdbeere, Himbeeren, Waldfrüchten, im Nachhall leicht nach Vanillezucker. Fruchtbetont und harmonisch-ausgewogen am Gaumen, fein integrierte Säure, wirkt im Abgang leicht süßlich nach. Simon Staffler
