Ricco e slanciato mostra note di grande energia "arancione" con note di mandarini, cedro in pezzi, fiori misti gialli e rossi, cannella in polvere e chiodi di garofano. Tante sfumature speziate descrivono la scena secondaria di notevole spessore. Corpo pieno, tannini perfettamente maturi ed integrati nella matrice ed un finale armonico e suadente di notevole dolcezza e compostezza. Meglio dal 2026.

Aromas of strawberries, citrus, tar, bark and crushed stones. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins that run the length of the wine. Elegance with structure. So enticing. It’s long and caressing, yet needs time to soften. Drink after 2027.

This is very structured, with intense, chewy tannins, firmness and light austerity. It’s medium-bodied with a lovely center palate of cherries and cranberries plus cedar and floral undertones. It’s tight and precise. Needs three or four years to open. Try after 2028.

Dinamico ed accentratore ricorda di agrumi misti, citronella, vetiver, sedano spezzato, ciliegie, lamponi, ribes e cumino. Tante sfumature accattivanti emergono dal sottofondo con bergamotto, chiodi di garofano e spezie miste. Espressivo e di natura ricca mostra una notevole tridimensionalità che dona gioia immediata all'assaggio. Meglio dal 2026.

This pretty wine showcases the cru's elegance and beauty from the moment the cork is pulled. Aromas of fresh cherry, rose, savory and baking spices intermingle in the glass. The palate is forward, with ripe red fruits taking center stage while subtle herbal, earth and chalky notes stay in the background. Drink now–2035.

This is showing a rich array of sour cherries, figs, coffee beans, walnuts, dried cranberries and tobacco on the nose. Full-bodied and bold, with muscular tannins and a deep fruit and nut character. Fantastic intensity. Try in 2026.

Vivo e rosso nell’animo principale alterna note di ribes, lamponi, fragole, prugne rosse, succo di mandarino, fiori di gelsomino e lime. Tante spezie in sottofondo si raccontano con coriandolo e latte di cocco nella bellezza esotica di un purosangue made in La Morra. Corpo pieno, tannini perfettamente maturi di natura setosa ed un finale che mostra una qualità superiore che verrà fuori nel tempo. Meglio dal 2026.

Dusty in the primary character showing notes of small berried red fruits, geraniums, chinotto, pressed red flowers, lime blossom, elderflowers, mandarin peel and orange juice. Full bodied, velvety tannins with flowing dynanism on the palate and a lively finale of medium persistency. Splendid now but better from 2023.

Pretty oak aromas hit the nose first and it takes some time for the crushed red cherry and mild spice notes to emerge, in the end creating a nice aromatic profile. Medium-to full-bodied with a good core of spicy fruit. The tannins create a slightly loose framework at the moment, but this should knit together with time. The right elements are there, but need a little order. Try from 2023.

Aromas of flowers, Spanish cedar and sweet berries follow through to a full body with chewy tannins and rich fruit that provide density and a rich mouth feel, but an agile and weightless finish. Try after 2024.

Esuberante e brillante mostra un profilo "croccante" fatto di note red che richiamano i sentori di lamponi, ribes, fiori di limone e gelsomino. Corpo medio, acidità vibrante, tannini leggermente rigidi al momento che si distenderanno nel tempo ed un finale luminoso ed avvolgente. Meglio dal 2023.

There a profusion of new oak on the nose now, yet there’s also deep, beautiful fruit. It’s full-bodied with dense, rich fruit to the powerful tannins. Solid and lengthy, this is one for the cellar. It all comes together at the finish. Another Barolo with a long life ahead of it. Better after 2023.

Caldo e suadente al naso mostra note mature di fragole, prugne rosse, fiori rossi appassiti, chiodi di garofano e pepe nero. Bacche di ginepro a dominare lo sfondo e completare il bouquet sensoriale di questo Barolo intrigante ed accattivante. Corpo pieno, tannini perfettamente levigati ed integrati nella matrice ed un finale armonico ed espressione della bellezza e dell'equilibrio. Meglio dal 2021.

Blackcurrant aromas and an array of woody spices, leading to a palate with a sinewy acid and tannin interplay. Plenty of toasty oak punch, especially at the limit. Needs time to settle. Try from 2021.

Floral and Spanish cedar aromas are prevalent. Medium body, fine tannins and a fruity finish. Delicate and enjoyable already. Drink in 2018.

Intense aromas of rose petal, rose hips and dried strawberry. Full body, chewy tannins and savory fruit. Very rich and intense. Needs four or five years to soften the solid tannins backbone. Try in 2020.

Very rich and decadent with dried berry plus vanilla and cappuccino character. Full-bodied, chewy and juicy. Savory and gorgeous. Better in 2018.

Aromas of white truffles, berries and flowers follow through to a full body, with round, velvety tannins and a clean finish. Very approachable now but better in 2016.
