Critic tasting note: (2016 vintage) "This vintage of Pinot is a solid, sturdy number, but doesn't succeed quite as well. Dense and spicy, it starts with aromas of black cherry, cassis, baking spices, black pepper and sweet cola oak. Medium bodied, the oak shows on the palate too but sits alongside plenty of dark fruit and spice. Structured, granular tannins grip the tongue and feel a touch wooly and sour on the finish.
