Mittelkräftiges Granatrot. Intensiv duftend auf Noten von frischem Sandelholz und Milchschokolade, die Frucht ist etwas verdeckt, Pflaumenröster und Rumtopf. Füllig am Gaumen, viel Holzwürze wie an der Nase, feinstoffig vom Tannin, vorne mit Schmelz, trocknet hinten aber etwas nach, recht laut im Ausklang.

Brightening ruby. Very floral-fresh nose of red berries. On the palate red fruits, underlaid by fine fruitiness and soft texture, a light vanilla tone, becomes a little loosely knit on the finish.

Aromas of currants, black cherries and light tar. Full-bodied and chewy with lots of new wood now, giving vanilla and coffee character to the blue fruit. Give it time to come together. Better after 2021.

Since the dried cherries here are complemented by very fresh sage and citrus, you would never guess this wine has 15% alcohol. Meanwhile, the tannins are very tense and quite powerful for this price point and the acidity is mineral and mouthwatering. Drink from 2021.

Intense bright ruby red colour. On the nose aromas of rum-steeped fruit, roasted nuts, bee honey and blackberry confit, it is a very complex bouquet. On the palate it is assertive and powerful, dominated by supple tannins with a velvety texture. On the back palate it is spicy and again gripping, and also slightly drying from a little too much oak use.

A minerally red that shows freshly picked blackcurrants, citrus, herbs and nutmeg. Medium to full body, fine and juicy tannins and an elegant finish. Drink now.
