Tasted: Jan 2015
Cigar ash, black cherries and black licorice comprise the nose of this wine from a longtime growing family in the expected-to-be-approved El Pomar District. It's a lighter bodied, playful take on the grape, like grape punch with an herbal twist, great for drinking today.
2008 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2012
Tastes like fruit-based syrup, with cherry and spice flavors. Lacks vivacity.
2007 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2011
This is a soft, hot Merlot. It has ripe flavors of cherries, red currants, red licorice, cocoa and pepper, and finishes dry.
