This is the highest-priced wine made from Cabernet - Merlot - Syrah in Okanagan Valley. The price has been stable over the past year.
Critic tasting note: (2020 vintage) "The 5th Element is a rugged red blend that mixes most of the Bordeaux varieties with a hit of syrah, but it is more South Okanagan in style than Australian. The final blend is based on selecting the best barrels after 18 months of aging in French and American oak. The style is rich, spicy, and savoury, with more blue and black fruit across the middle and end of the palate. The finish is a gathering of sweet fruit and slick, chalky tannins with more spicy oak to disperse in the finish. BBQ ribs will do fine now until this wine settles into itself in a few years. (Anthony Gismondi)." - Gismondi on Wine
