Rene Bouvier took over from Henri in the 1950's, Bernard took over from Rene in 1992 and in 2019 also took over brother Regis Bouvier's vineyards from Cote de Nuits.
Critic tasting note: (2023 vintage) "There is so much depth and complexity here, lifted and refined. This shows aromas of black cherries, citrus peel, licorice, wet bark and potpourri. The focused palate is textural and mineral with lovely energy and tension as well as fine-grained tannins that persist until the mouthwatering finish. Made from 100-year-old vines. Excellent. Drink or hold." - James Suckling
