The 2018 ‘Seven Soils’ was stored in 90% neutral French oak prior to bottling, as this blends a range of vineyards and finished resting for three months in stainless steel. This is a fresh and beautifully textured version of Oregon Chardonnay, with buttered French bread, honeydew melon and lemon rind flavors that combine with plenty of stony minerals. Enjoy this outstanding new wine over the next eight years.
2018 Vintage Tasted: Jul 2020
This enters with a soft, slightly soapy mouthfeel, showing quince and gooseberry fruit as it tightens up in the mouth. There's a streak of celery, green apple and a hint of toasted hazelnut. At least at this stage of life it's a bit disjointed, so aggressive aeration is recommended. Paul Gregutt

A ripe style with rich, melon and peach aromas, as well as sliced apricots. The palate has a very succulent feel with a smooth delivery of fresh pears and white peaches, framed in nutty, savory notes at the finish. Drink now.
