Critic tasting note: (2020 vintage) "100% of this blend comes from vineyards in the Uco Valley. It's 30% cabernet sauvignon from Gualtallary, 30% malbec from La Consulta, 20% cabernet franc from Gualtallary, 10% syrah from El Cepillo, and the rest is merlot from Gualtallary. Aged in oak for 18 months, the presence of spices and herbs, plus the tobacco aromas of cabernet sauvignon and franc, dominate on the palate. What the acidity does here is refresh and contribute to the sensation of crispness, something that's very difficult to find in the 2020 vintage. This has a long life ahead of it, although it's delicious now with grilled lamb sweetbreads." - Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
