2021 Vintage
Tasted: Mar 2023
White grapefruit, green apple and lime perfume the nose. A medium in weight palate offers notes of honey and lime joined by subtle peach, apple and herbaceous flavors. Coming from one of the highest altitude vineyards in Uco Valley, San Pablo, it has vigorous acidity, mineral character and a long finish with subtle oak spices.

Medium to full body with pears, apricots, baked apples and brioche on the nose with lemon and grapefruit zest too. Creamy and flavorful. Excellent freshness to the ripe stone fruit. Vegan. Screw cap.

Tasted: Feb 2021
Aromas of cream, ripe apricot, honeydew melon and lemon shortbread. It’s medium-bodied with bright acidity. Smooth and flavorful with lots of cream and stone fruit. Drink now. Screw cap.

Tasted: Oct 2020
Peach and other mild white-fruit scents are dusty and smell a bit like an oyster shell. A tight, fairly lean palate (for Chardonnay) is driven by bold acidity, while this tastes lightly briny and of stone fruits and green melon. Michael Schachner

Freshly cut pineapple and lemon zest with nectarine and creamy, lactic notes. Round and textural with fresh, almost brisk acidity to highlight the flavors, which feature some Greek yoghurt, but not too much. Fresh and clean. Drink now.

From the La Pampa estate, 1,300 meters up in the Uco Valley, this is a chardonnay with subtle aromas and very good acidity. It has the force of its structure, and instead of flavors of tropical fruits, this wine has a subtle herbal touch in a wine that’s very easy to drink and very well balanced.

Attractive hazelnut and toast aromas with hints of coconut and dried herbs, drawing you into this very balanced, medium-bodied chardonnay with a long finish that’s both creamy and fresh. Drink now. Screw cap.

Lots of apricots to this as well as tropical notes of mango and papaya. Full body, lovely acidity that really channels this towards the apply, flavorful finish. Drink now. Screw cap.

Bright medium deep golden colour. Discreet oak, some nutty notes, fresh butter and creamy yellow fruit. The palate has a well-balanced freshness, gentle bitterness, sweet yellow fruit some oak and vanilla with a medium to long finish.

Fresh apple and lime aromas feed into a citrusy, stony palate with elegance and bracing malic acidity. Flavors of nectarine, orange, apple and wet stones finish racy, with a hint of lees character.

Oily citrus aromas are pungent on the nose. This is chunky but braced by firm acidity. Waxy, warm, oaky flavors of caramel and baked apple finish with punchy citric acidity and an oak-based touch of butterscotch.

Nutty aromas of almond skins and walnut aren't terribly fruity but show some mineral cut. The wine is punchy but standard in feel, with a mix of citrus and melon flavors. The finish tastes nutty and a bit briny.
2011 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2013
Juniper and onion aromas are not inviting, and there's little fruit to back them up. The mouthfeel is oily, while flavors of briny citrus lead to a pickled-tasting finish. Tasted twice, with consistent results.

Honey, spicy, baked pear, vanilla, creamy, grassy, floral and green apple aromas. Dry, fresh, delicate, juicy palate with citrus, green apple, honey, spicy, vanilla, pear and light guava flavours. Good finesse in a leaner, crisp and juicy style. (Anthony Gismondi and Stuart Tobe).

White fruit aromas are as expected and clean, with no faux oak, weight or interference. The palate is round but nicely acidic, with cutting texture and sweet, lightly creamy flavors of sweet peach, apple and butter. Turns slightly oaky late, with butterscotch and spice.
