Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "The 2022 Les Hauts de Smith Rouge, 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in 30% new oak. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes barreling out of the glass with black cherry compote, blueberry pie, and cassis notes, followed by hints of dusty soil and bay leaves. The medium to full-bodied palate is coated with black fruit layers and a chewy texture, finishing with a peppery lift." - The Wine Palate

Vintage quality: Excellent (Legendary)
Current condition: Will keep
