Black olive and spice notes to the blackcurrants and blackberries. The medium-bodied palate delivers soft tannins that glide through, with round, supple fruit and dark olives. Drink now.

Tasted: Apr 2022
Herbal currants, some olives, dark spices and black beans. This is a juicy and smooth carmenere, showing soft tannins and supple black fruit. Fresh, with immediate appeal. Drink now.

Tasted: Jan 2022
Oak plays an important role in this wine, determining the aromas and flavors of toasted oak. The body is light, and the tannins are very soft.

Tasted: Apr 2021
Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, plums and dried herbs. It’s medium-to full-bodied with sleek tannins. Juicy, fruity and very approachable. Pretty finish. Drink now.

Tasted: Jan 2009
Smoky and plummy, with Carmenère's characteristic herbal tang. This is soft and creamy in texture, very approachable in style, with some chocolaty notes on the finish.
2003 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2006
A front of charred beef and coffee grounds sit sentry over the bouquet, while the palate is short on fruit other than heavy black plum and berry jam. Turns more volatile and rough-edged as it opens.
2002 Vintage
Tasted: Jul 2003
Mint and sausage with a good dose of sweaty leather mark the nose of this distinctive carmenère that is streaked with cardamom for good measure. Minty smoky, leather, leafy, fruit flavours dissolve into a lean dry finish. The finish is quite smoky and leathery but where's the fruit? (Anthony Gismondi).
2000 Vintage
Tasted: Mar 2003
Much better intensity here. Smoke pepper spice and ripe cassis/cherry fruit mark the nose and palate. Round and rich with good structure and length. Lovely smoky plum leather character and just a whiff of tannin for the future. Good red wine. (Anthony Gismondi).
