Critic tasting note: (2018 vintage) "This wine is aromatic yet also reductive. Intense aromas of cherries are overlaid with cooked onions, peppery spice and wood shavings. It does improve somewhat with time in the glass, the oniony reductive notes morphing into more typical secondary ones like earth and mushrooms. The palate, however, lacks cohesion. The fruit sits heavily and is on the sour candied side, and the oak sits rather awkwardly off to one side like an uncomfortable houseguest. Christina Pickard" - Wine Enthusiast
