Keep Up with En Primeur on Wine-Searcher

En Primeur isn't just a big deal – it's big business.

The launch of the 2025 vintage to the trade means it won't be long before consumers around the world can fill their cellars with the glories of Bordeaux's finest producers.

However, it's easy to miss out, so make sure you don't by getting the most out of Wine-Searcher.

We'll be providing plenty of coverage of the wines, the scores and the releases, which will all be updated as soon we get them on our dedicated En Primeur page. Just click on the Reviews and Tasting Notes section for scores and Explore the Wines to keep an eye on the prices as they are revealed.

Since it might be some time before the prices are announced – and then a little longer until they filter through to the retail space – it might pay to set alerts for the wines you are particularly interested in. To do this, simply sign-in to your Wine-Searcher account, search for the product you want and then hit the Set Alert button located right above the retailer listings (or the bell icon at the top if you are using the app).

Then just enter your trigger price, leave yourself any notes you might want and click save – it's as simple as that.

If you're using a free account, you get up to five alerts, which will check the availability of the wine once a day for a month. However, if you upgrade to Wine-Searcher PRO, you get up to 365 alerts that keep looking every day for a year – perfect for En Primeur, when hundreds of wines get released into the market.

Another handy search tip is using filters.

If you click on a product, you will go to a page that will give you a list of prices for that particular wine. From there, you will be able to select a specific vintage (if you haven't done so already), find out what grape varieties and regions are associated with your wine, and see its overall critic and user ratings.

Most importantly, you can make your way to a shop's website to buy the wine – just click on the green "Go to shop" button. (Depending on the retailer's online presence, you may see a "See website" button which might take you to a homepage or page with multiple products listed, or a "Contact shop" button.)

On that page, you can adjust the filters for your search, meaning you can search by retailer, by offer type (retail, en primeur, in-bond and so forth) and by location. You can also search by retailers that will ship to your home address, and search in different currencies and price parameters.

You can also check the quality of the vintage for your particular wines, simply by clicking on the Vintages tab on our homepage. This includes the latest from the 2025 vintage in Bordeaux, the one all the fuss is about.

Happy hunting!
