Expert tasting note: (2019 vintage) "There is a medium intensity of darkly pigmented ruby-red color, that already seems quite developed. The aromas have high-toned notes of tobacco-leaf & licorice. The palate shows rich black-cherry fruit with black-olive notes. There are fine-grained cedary tannins. The wine is medium to full-bodied. The fruit on the mid-palate seems a little hollow. The finish is high-toned, savory & drying. The wine finishes hot & alcoholic." - 10/23 DCAMW
