Critic tasting note: (2006 vintage) "A cooler year with good composure. The aromas of coffee cream and sweet, fragrant spices are evident immediately, with blueberry and sweet earthiness that is reminiscent of fresh black truffle. The palate has a very plush, rich blackberry and dark-plum fruit core. Super ripe, glossy and layered. Some savory cocoa powder here, too. So drinkable and plush with open-knit tannins.
