Cru World Wine - Singapore

Vineyard notes: "Age of the vines: 50-52 years old. Chambertin is among the top 5 best grands crus in Burgundy. Its central position on a slightly sloping, moderately cool and windy hill gives the wine a unique texture. It faces east. This deep substratum is finely covered with limestone scree and silt which have settled for millenaries and which agriculture has mixed for many centuries. The soils of Le Clos de Bèze and Le Chambertin prove to be different: their difference comes from an unbalanced proportion between the composition of Bajocian crinoidal limestone and marly layers."
