First Growth. Premier Cru Classe in 1855.
Expert tasting note: "Medium to deep yellow color. The aromas are wonderfully concentrated with rich marzipan notes, apricot & piquant orange fruits. The palate is very sweet, rich & full-bodied with a marzipan texture. Fresh acidity gives a juicy vibrancy to the ripe peach & nectarine fruit. There are honeyed touches and lovely concentration on the mid-palate. The alcohol is balanced & the honeyed fruit lasts well on the finish." - 04/24 (ep) DCAMW
