A fresh, balanced and velvety white with lemons, white peaches, warm herbs and mild spices on the nose. It's medium- to full-bodied with an oily texture to the flavorful mid-palate. Baked lemons meet a lift of verbena and spices. Plenty of weight here, with a delicious, caressing texture to the peachy finish. Drink or hold.

2023 Vintage Tasted: Jan 2025

A textured, dense, silky and harmonious white blend of roussanne, grenache blanc, picardan, bourboulenc and clairette. The nose exhibits aromas of baked lemons, verbena, beeswax, wild herbs and some dried spices. Medium-bodied with moderate acidity. The cooked lemons and herbs bring a lively, energetic mid-palate. It’s oily and highly textural. Vibrant and long. Drink or hold.

When to drink: 2024 to 2036

The 2022 Chateau de Beaucastel Blanc is a stunning wine is mainly Roussanne (80%) with the remainder being a blend of other Rhone white varieties. White peach and honeysuckle notes mark the nose alongside shades of sweetened gooseberry and stony essence. The palate is soft and refined, with serious weight and beautiful underlying tension. A total stunner, enjoy now and over the next ten plus years to come.

Fantastic nose of cooked apricots, a wide spectrum of candied fruit and toasted nuts. Full-bodied, concentrated and creamy, with a very caressing texture on the mid palate and a very long finish that has great restrained power. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

All the power and textural complexity that we expect from the whites of this appellation is combined with wonderful lemon freshness and a pronounced salty minerality. A slew of candied citrus, pineapple and dried pear character. Wonderful silkiness at the very long, well-structured finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2025. From organically grown grapes.

Spring flowers, orange peel, yellow citrus, white peach and spice define the nose. On the palate, the wine is lush, creamy and also interestingly, loaded with fresh, bright, crisp citrus with a touch of peach in the finish. Drink from 2022 - 2032.

Light greenish lemon with silver reflections. Delicate nutty-smoky tones underlying reductive nuances, white tropical fruit, some dried apricot, a hint of lime: a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, fine yellow fruit notes of peach and mango, discreet acidity, balanced and elegant. The wine is already very well developed with subtle sweetness on the finish.

When to drink: 2019 to 2038

- The 2016 Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a stunning new wine from this famed estate in Chateauneuf du Pape. Needing more than an hour decant to fully develop, this pear colored wine starts off with beeswax, brandy soaked pear, nutmeg, and ripe banana that impress on the nose. The intoxicating bouquet brings you back to the glass for more delight. Once in the mouth, the unctuous mouthfeel entices the senses. Silky smooth gliding through the palate, flavors reminiscent of baked pear, marzipan, banana bread and honeydew melon move through, leading to an exceeding long and satisfying finish. The salinity and light stony character of the wine further pushes this into the upper echelon of this prestigious region in the Rhone Valley. Enjoyable now, this wine will cellar well for decades.
