Refreshing nose with freshly squeezed lemon and grapefruit citrus. Green apples and a hint of herbs. Bone-dry and subtle with a reserved, chalky feel to the medium-bodied palate. Drink now. Screw cap.

Somewhat buttery in the fragrance, but not too intense, in addition fresh aromas of pear, corn, banana. No wood. On the palate powerful body, lively acid backbone and delicate tactile mineral components. A straightforward Chardonnay that gives the variety a powerful and exceedingly clear expression.

Riecht nach feuchtem Stein, Ananas, Apfel. Saftiger Gaumen mit ungekünstelter Frische, reifer Säure und kohärenter Fruchtbegleitung bis in den Abgang hinein. Zurückhaltend im Alkohol (11,5 %). Grundsolide und verlässlich – wo immer man den Wein auf der Karte oder im Regal stehen sieht: zugreifen! Er ist ein Garant für unbeschwerten Trinkgenuss.

The bouquet deals some peach, custard and a slight hint of oak, while the palate runs racy, fresh and citrusy. If you like a fresher style with strong orange and tropical fruit flavors, this is your ticket. It's a controlled wine that meets expectations. With 15% Parellada.

This highly modern Spanish chardonnay blends 85 per cent chardonnay with 15 per cent parellada and the result is a very sophisticated fresh white wine. The oak has been reined in over the years leaving the aromatic white to show off its peachy, buttery, nutty, floral fruit flavours. After crushing, pressing and cold settling, 70% of the juice is vinified in stainless steel tanks, the remainder in new French oak barrels. Only 40 per cent of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation placing this chardonnay in the modern, cool-climate, fresh style. (Anthony Gismondi).

Oak is a key feature. The nose carries some sawdust and vanilla, while the plate is creamy, with banana and pear flavors. Vanilla is also present on the oaky, airy finish. Thick and woody, but healthy and honest.

Mallowy, toasty aromas start things off and show up again on the back end, but the palate offers only generic yellow fruit. Medium-bodied and quite resinous in the mouth, it's suitable for casual gatherings.

Chaque nouveau millésime de ce vin blanc sec est une occasion renouvelée de constater sa qualité constante. Il se distingue par sa précision et sa structure solide, offrant une expérience gustative à la fois veloutée et pleine, marquée par une belle onctuosité sans pour autant tomber dans l'excès. Il se révèle être un vin à la fois aromatique et expressif, de corps moyen, dévoilant des arômes complexes de pêche, mangue, fenouil, fleurs blanches et amandes, subtilement rehaussés par une touche de vanille résultant de son élevage en fût. Superbe présence en bouche : amplitude, richesse, longueur, le tout enveloppé dans une texture qui allie sensualité et élégance. Comme toujours chez Torres, le boisé est bien maîtrisé et parfaitement intégré. On achète les yeux fermés! Servir à 12 °C. Un délice en compagnie d'un homard sauce à la vanille, des tapas de crevettes, d'un risotto aux champignons, d'un saumon fumé sauce au miel, ou des linguines aux fruits de mer.

Round and mostly on the money, with medium-depth fruit. The bouquet pitches melon and some richness, while the full palate deals melon, papaya and banana. Not designed for the long haul, so drink soon for best results.
