Critic tasting note: (2021 vintage) "Grapes used to make this wine see 10 to 15 hours resting in a bladder press which is enveloped with inert gas to prevent oxidation. The resulting wine shows a very pale copper color, often called ramato in Italian. Described as an “Alsatian-style wine, it matches the billing with rich aromas of chalky soil and tangerine rind backed by a richly oily texture and exceptionally long finish. This has more of a peachy color with ripe stone fruit, sliced apples, savory herbs, spices, praline and crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied, chalky and slightly phenolic with some salty character to it. Creamy finish. Drink now.

A light orange,pink colour with a copper hue. Sweet pear and plum aromas with a hint of beeswax suggesting sweetness yet remainin dry on the palate. Generous palate, medium weight with a gentle texture from the skins adding texture and freshness, crunchy stone fruit flavours with a fine length, a seriously built Pinot Grigio with depth and texture.
